The classic qi zi bing — seven raw pu-erh cakes bundled as a single "tong" — here made from ancient-tree material of the Bingdao area in Lincang, Yunnan, one of the most sought-after pu-erh terroirs. Bingdao teas are famous for a clean, lingering "rock-sugar" sweetness and a soft, returning fragrance. Raw pu-erh is the style that transforms with proper storage, so a full tong is the traditional way serious drinkers lay tea down.
About 7g with 95–100°C water in a gaiwan or clay pot; rinse once, then quick 10–15 second infusions, lengthening as the leaves open. Young raw pu-erh is bright and aromatic; aged cakes turn smoother and sweeter.
The traditional connoisseur's format — and a memorable premium gift.
